What's going on in the world of Physical Education at Valders Elementary School?

We have just finished up Jump Rope for Heart. Our school raised an amazing $7500 for the American Heart Association! That is awesome! All of the students participated in the event, which involved six different stations: Long Jump Rope, Short Jump Rope, Chinese Jump Rope, the Rock Wall, the Cargo Net, and Dance, Dance Revolution. The kindergartners also used the agility ladder. It was fun for everyone!

Coming up next in physical education:

Kindergartners, first, and second grades will be using the parachute. Games include Cat and Mouse, Mountain Climber, and Sharks and Lifeguards.

Third and Fourth graders are going to be hoopin' it up with basketball!
