Use the following timeline to keep on task for this project:

• Day 1:
  • View the Video: Birth Defects: Causes & Prevention and complete the worksheet.
  • Read Chapter 5.3, Problems in Prenatal Development; The Developing Child, pages 155 to 166. Then complete the graphic organizer.
• Day 2:
  • Discuss the information from the video and text worksheets.
  • Choose a birth defect that you are going to research.
• Day 3: Research a birth defect of your choice using the required information that must be incorporated into the flyer or brochure.
• Day 4: Continue researching and start to design or create a flyer or brochure.
• Day 5: Finish researching if needed and continue designing a flyer or brochure.
• Day 6: Finish the project; print out a hard copy and save it to the studentshare in the W Drive, yourlastname.firstinital.nameofbirthdefect under my name and your classhours folder.
• Day 7:Finish project and do the self-evaluation.
